The Park County Radio Club Inc. celebrated 20 years of community service at its bimonthly meeting May 16. The club combines both the hobby aspects of amateur radio and supports the community with radio services and emergency communications.
A dozen amateur radio enthusiasts founded the club in 1995 to provide technical assistance to radio operators and mutual aid to the county. In the same year, the club set up a Volunteer Examiners team to administer tests to those interested in gaining various levels of amateur radio licenses. – http://www.theflume.com/news/article_049bc26a-003d-11e5-8da2-e74e702b0326.html
